SEAL Bootcamp
The Consort Fitness SEAL Bootcamp is a 4 week program training 3 days per week. It is delivered to you by Vicfit and Fitness Australia qualified Ex Military Physical Training Instructors. Classes are designed utilising the latest research that will deliver the gains and results you are looking for.
Strength, Endurance, Aerobic, Loading
The acronym SEAL stands for Strength – Endurance - Aerobic – Loading which is the basis of all classes. The SEAL Bootcamp involves military style fitness classes, which include:
- Agility runs,
- Running Drills,
- Run, Dodge, Jump activities,
- Mini Obstacle Courses,
- Competitive Team Activities, and

- Non contact Boxing,
- Endurance activities,
- Scenario based activities,
- Rope, Tyre and Stretcher Runs.

Our classes are challenging, rewarding and each Bootcamp develops a sense of camaraderie and team work amongst participants that you won’t find in any other style of fitness class.
Classes of this nature should only be instructed by those with real life experience as a Military Physical Training Instructor.

Why Do Bootcamps?
The reasons are many. Primarily it's an great alternative to the usual fitness centre where you join and train the same way over and over and may rarely see results.
Instead at Bootcamp you'll be encouraged to put forth 110% effort and in return you'll get excellent results and camaraderie that you typically you won't find in a gym. |

Most recruits don't realize that the Psychological makeover they receive is just as prominent as the Physical makeover.

BOOTCAMP Is It For Anyone? YES
One of the main questions or queries Consort Fitness receives is that people are generally "scared or worried" that this type of training will be too much for them.
Our answer to that is yes, if you go to the wrong trainers. You see, most Bootcamp providers are Personal Trainers or someone who has "served" in the forces (including police or fire).
They usually hire out GI Jane or some other military movie and assume they are experts in that sort of training. This is where all the yelling and abusing comes from and this is where all the injuries come from.
These people are not qualified to take these classes. They may be registered fitness providers but this does not qualify them to instruct 'Military Physical Training Programs'. |
The only truly qualified people to run these classes correctly and safely are Military Physical Training Instructors.
All Consort Fitness instructors are Military Physical Trainers. They spend nine hours a day for 6 months learning every aspect of Military Physical Training, although some of it is not required in Bootcamp training the majority is. In that time we cover everything there is to know about outdoor group training. The group training you see in all gyms (no matter what it is) originated from the armed forces. We have been using group training since 'caveman made the wheel' (We actually designed it, made it, taught them how to make it themselves and ordered them to keep on making them till we returned).
We will not yell and belittle you. We can motivate anyone without using 'crap' tactics that only those with no experience resort to using. However, we will not beat around the bush in telling you what you need to do to reach your goals, and excuses, well we have heard them all.

So what we are saying is we realise that not all people are on the same level when it comes to their current health and fitness. We appreciate that and know how to handle groups with differing standards. Our aim is to work with you and help you reach your goals (Mentally and Physically). Now, if you have plenty of work to do then don’t be fooled by the misconception that in four weeks you will be a 'machine'. Things take time. But, in those four weeks you will have changed dramatically, this we guarantee. |
You can be obese, unfit, underweight or state champion, aging (nice way to say oldish), have no co-ordination or whatever the case may be . We have dealt with it and can have you all in the same group and not one of you say you didn't get something out of it. Again, this we guarantee.
If you read our profiles on the website, you can see we have all got differing backgrounds. Yes, we are all "some of the military's finest" (you too will have this self confidence when we are finished with you) but our experience and training background makes us the safest, surest and most experienced Bootcamp provider in the market.
