SEAL Challenge

We are privileged and excited to be able to provide this training that to date, only a minority of military personnel from world military organisations have utilised in similar training, Special Forces, Clearance Divers etc. It will be the hardest thing you have ever done.

What is a SEAL Challenge?
The SEAL (Strength, Endurance, Aerobic, Loading) Challenge is a psychological and physical challenge aimed at members with a moderate and beyond fitness level.

It is designed to push you and your group in every aspect of training combining physical fitness, mental toughness, emotional pressure, teamwork and the will to succeed and win.


Members will be under physical duress within a controlled pressure environment and learn how much more their body and mind can take. We push team members into predicaments they are not generally exposed to and see whether the react positively or negatively and if needed assist them in realigning their attitude to reflect what all effective organisations require for success.

What does it involve?
It depends on what your organisation requires, but as a general guide most of the following activities are incorporated during the SEAL Challenge:

  • Team Building and Trust activities
  • Mind (frustration) Games
  • Exercise Technique Classes
  • Pre Fatiguing Classes
  • Limited Rations
  • Leadership
  • Time Management Exercises
  • Memory Enhancement Drills
  • Military Exercises and Classes
  • Sleep Deprivation
  • Land and Water Activities
  • Integrity Tests
  • and so much more...

 

What will my organisation gain from the SEAL Challenge?
We will give you a comprehensive S.W.A.P (Strengths, Weaknesses, Attitude and Potential) Analysis on each member of your organisation and collectively as a team, based on what our staff see during the Challenge. The program in nature is designed to mould a team of individuals into an individual team by developing the following key ingredients which are imperative to the success of any organization:

What activities will be involved during the SEAL Challenge?
Information will be limited, we keep your program details Top Secret so that we have total control for the safe conduct and effectiveness of the Challenge. If a member of your organisation desperately needs to know what is involved in the program we will release what information we can.

What experience do the instructors have?
All our instructors are qualified Military Physical Training Instructors who have served with our Defence Forces elite, SAS, Clearance Divers, Physical Training School as well as overseas deployments in war zones. They have expertise in many areas and a great grounding in most others. They are the best in the business.

Can we have the SEAL Challenge in our local area?
We would prefer an organisation residing in Melbourne travel to one of our sites but if organisations outside of Melbourne can’t travel to one of our sites we can negotiate a suitable site within your area. Each case will be discussed during the initial correspondence.

What will I need to do to arrange the SEAL Challenge for my club?
Firstly e-mail nick@consortfitness.com.au and provide the following information:

  1. Who you are?
  2. Where are you?
  3. Who the group is?
  4. What you want to achieve?
  5. Where would you like it to be conducted?
  6. What is your preferred date?
  7. Time duration requested? - From when to when?
  8. "Exactly" how many personnel will be involved in the challenge?
  9. What’s the general fitness level of the group?
  10. What are your contact Details?
Can any team members take part in the SEAL Challenge?
It is advised that any team members with medical restrictions or limitations do not take part unless discussed previously with Consort. The medical questionnaire must be accurately filled in to ensure safe conduct for all your members.

What then?
We will then provide you with a quote to ensure you are well aware of the cost of running such an activity. Please ensure all the information provided is correct and update us if there are any changes as soon as they arise. We do not like surprises! However, we can handle anything.

Once the e-mail is received and acknowledged, payment options will be forwarded to you and a 25% deposit must be paid by your organisation a minimum of two weeks prior to the agreed date.

More e-mails will come, ask us questions, some we will answer, some we won’t. We have forms that you will need to have filled in and returned to us prior to the start date. So ensure that there is adequate time allowed for this to take place.

We will only deal with one member of your organisation and it is preferred that that member is not taking part in the Challenge. This ensures that there will be no leaks, which is vital to the overall success.

If you are ready to take the next step in your personal development then leap forward to be judged. You will be tested, so be warned, there may be tears, you may even want to throw in the towel, but we will guide you through and at the end this exercise you will be rewarded, it may even be the most rewarding thing you will have ever done in your life.
