I was 40 yrs old overweight, lazy and a sore back watching biggest loser with the commando training them, I remembered the Navy 16 years ago fit & trim. I was ready to do something about my body, looked up Bootcamp on web, Consort Fitness Ex Navy Physical Trainers, that’s the one. I started April 07 104kgs & a 112cm waist It all came back to quickly, “Change – Steady – get down – get up” I thought I would die, but soon I could see the results weight coming off, clothes falling off. They knew I was lazy so they push me some more, other recruits (veterans) pushed too “come on Wayn’o don’t stop till you hit the top step” (Oliver’s hill stairs) working as a team was great for me mentally. Just 1 more rep or step, I finish each session exhausted but “WOW” did I just do that? Yes I did!
Now in my 9th straight Bootcamp including winter I’ve achieved some goals already 89kgs = 15kg off also 18cm off my waist & no sore back.
Next goal 10 straight (Red shirt) and to qualify for the 24hr Challenge. My view of Bootcamp is 30% physical 70% mental, tell yourself you can and you will. “I have” Go team you legends.

I wish to thank your staff for their constant help and motivational qualities. When I first started training, I was overweight and my fitness level was low; the support and aide your staff provided me with was invaluable, as it allowed me to push beyond my own expectations and take my fitness to a new level.
As a result of my Boot Camp training, I was able to participate in and complete the 24 Hour SEAL Challenge.
This was a life-changing experience, as it not only challenged me physically, but mentally as well. It encouraged me to question my own abilities and self-beliefs. The set tasks: memory enhancement drills, sleep deprivation, minimal food and even learning to sing “I wanna be a Navy Seal”, tested me for every minute. Through this, I was able to develop a new mindset, which will help me overcome any challenges that life decides to throw my way.
Since starting Bootcamp, I have lost nearly 20 kilograms in weight. I now feel fantastic, but more importantly, I have gained a new lease on life; with a fitter body and a strong mindset.
Thanks so much for all your help, and I hope others gain what I have from the Navy SEAL Bootcamp experience.

I must admit, as a physiotherapist, I was very skeptical about starting a Bootcamp due to the many injuries I have witnessed in my practice resulting from 'so called' Bootcamps and their instructors. However I was very impressed from day one with not only the professionalism and expert knowledge demonstrated by the PTI’s, but also the level of care taken towards injury prevention and technique correction.
All exercises undertaken are expertly demonstrated, closely monitored, and of a safe and highly effective nature. The changes I have seen personally have been amazing, both mentally and physically. I have no reservations whatsoever as a health professional in recommending the Consort Fitness Bootcamps, to both the athletes I treat that are looking for that something extra, or someone wanting to start out on a fitness program. |

I am a Chiropractor with a Masters Degree in sports injuries. I have been in practice for over 20 years and have been the team Chiropractor for national and international teams and individuals.
Recently I decided that my own fitness needed some serious help and decided to try “Bootcamp” type training to increase my aerobic fitness.
I have attended two Bootcamps so far with Consort Fitness and have been very impressed with the level of skill and professionalism displayed by all the trainers, their commitment to safe (though tough) training sessions with an emphasis on both warm up and cool down phases has both impressed me and seen my personal fitness increase dramatically, without injury.
I commend their commitment to safe tough training and would recommend their Bootcamps to anyone wishing to take their fitness to a higher level. |

I'm about to complete my 17th bootcamp and am still getting lots out of it and I am still improving each month. I initally joined to get fitter to compete in a triathlon which I did back in March and I enjoyed bootcamp so much I kept coming back.
Consort Trainers always take special care to be aware of any injuries people may have. They also puts a great amount of effort and time put into a proper warmup and cool down, which is most important.
Bootcamp is great for your overall well being and fitness.
I would recommend it to anyone. |

I have trained with the guys at Consort since earlier 2007. I found it to be of great benefit in many ways, increasing my personal fitness and training techniques. The varied type of training clearly indicates their experience and knowledge in fitness with well organised and structured activities that are always conducted in a safe and thorough manner with no compromise on safety and injury prevention techniques. This professional approach is also indicative in their personal enthusiasm how they have gained an increasing client base with people choosing to return with a sustainable mindset for the training covered and achieving further results.
The training covers everyone and their level of fitness and what they personally want to achieve while ensuring that there is always a bit of fun and enjoyment throughout training. They also offer additional fitness activities throughout the year to further push yourself and regular social occasions which just adds another aspect to their overall business that combines their positive and proven approach. |

I have been training at a gym for many years and recently had to have a 3 month rest from exercise due to an operation. This was hell for me as I am such an active person and was so concerned about losing my fitness and gaining weight so I wanted a quick effective way to increase my fitness back to the level it was and to lose a few unwanted kilos. I was looking to try something different than the mundane four walls of the gym. A friend referred me to Navy SEAL Bootcamp which is all outdoor training and they have really changed my views on the way I exercise. I thought I worked hard in the gym but I never realised how much harder you can work and Bootcamp has taught me to push myself to a level I never thought I could reach. The first week was pain and torture because my body was sore after each session but you soon get through the pain barrier and keep soldiering on.
I like how the instructors push you to go that one step further and he is always on my back if I start to slacken off. I would never push myself this much if I was running on the treadmill in the gym or doing push ups!!! (Which I hate)
Bootcamp is not just about pushing your boundaries, they teach you the correct way to stretch, the correct way to run, the correct way to do a sit up or a push up and most importantly they do great warm up and cool down sessions.
I am now into my second Bootcamp and am feeling great about myself, my fitness levels have increased and I enjoy getting up each day to do this type of training. A big thanks to Consort for pushing my boundaries and I look forward to participating in many more Bootcamps. |
